A new house with energy efficiency at its heart:
We are pleased to see work start on site for a new house. Our Clients can stay in the neighbourhood but enjoy an energy-efficient house in their retirement. The new house is being built in an extended back garden, but facing a side road.
We have been fortunate to be able to have a rendered finish, allowing us to use external wall insulation – effectively a tea-cosy for the building. Although the plot is quite wide, the building is in two volumes, to reflect the rhythm of the Edwardian and Georgian properties on the street. Overall, the property will be quietly contemporary.
