A large conservatory, added to this property by a previous owner, was restricting both natural light and useable space at the rear of the house.  Conservatories often overheat in summer and are too cold in winter to function efficiently.  We designed a rear extension which removed the conservatory and replaced it with a large open-plan kitchen / dining / family room.  A large expanse of glazing gives level access to the garden, creating a seamless connection between inside and out.  A large rooflight, carefully located over the kitchen island, floods the space with natural light.  We also extended about the existing garage, creating a dramatic master bedroom suite.   Our commitment to creating versatile and inviting spaces ensures that this extension not only meets the needs of a growing family but also adds a contemporary flair to the overall design.
